Associate Missionary Program

(3 Months - 3 years)

The Associate Missionary Program for the Fellowship of Baptist Churches in Thailand (FBCT) is for those who want to work in a cross-cultural ministry with an Independent Baptist Missionary for a period of time between three months and three years.

    There are opportunities various ministries to include:
  • English teachers
  • Those considering a career in missions to explore God's direction for future ministry
  • Those considering a career in missions to do an apprenticeship
  • Music teachers
  • Sports ministry
  • Camping ministry
    The qualifications for this program are:
  • Credible testimony of salvation and Christian growth
  • Evidence of spiritual maturity
  • Good physical and emotional health
  • Ability to build relationships with people
  • A fundamental sending church
  • Prayer and financial support
    Steps to service:
  1. Send in Application. (Contact the FBCT for information)
  2. Have an interview with an FBCT representative.
  3. Complete application papers and medical examination.
  4. Develop a financial and prayer support team.
    Finances:
  • The amount of financial support needed varies from province to province.
  • Average support is about $500-$1000 a month.
 

2009 Missions Trip

The Habal family from Hawaii took a short term missions trip to help out the New Life Baptist Church, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
